Okay. I like Mail. I'm giving it a chance. And it's working much better on my 1GHz iMac than it did on my G3 366 iBook.
But! Being in Australia, I like the date to read like this: 20/3/03 for 20 March. Not 3/20/03. Hey, I respect different date formats, but I can't find a way to change it in Mail.
Ideas anyone? I've changed it in System Prefs, but that doesn't affect the date receiveds in Mail.

Same here. Mail doesn't seem to know about 24hr clocks. *sigh* That and no threading make it a pain to work with sometimes.

Here is a hint from Mac OS X Hints.com which tells you how to change it. Complicating, yes, but it gets the work done.

In the comments below the hint is a hint on how to change the time format from 12 hours to 24 hours, too.

Threading will be in Panther's Mail.
