today i went to the apple store to get some things looked at. i broke my charger a couple weeks ago and was hoping to get it fixed or replaced. i bought my computer less than a year ago and was still under warranty. unfortunatetly the apple store geniuses saw too much physical damage on it to give me a new replacement. fine....i was pretty much expecting that.
but then i had other questions about what was covered. i told my sales associate that some of the keys on my keyboard were sticking. he said that techincally he couldn't do anything but they still worked....but he did sympothize, saying that he was picky about his computer too. he replaced one key for me at no charge, and took my shift key off, cleaned it, and put it back on. he said that he was doing this to my computer as a favor, but it wasn't covered under applecare.
well, i get home, and my shift key doesn't work.....(hence the lazy formatting of my post). what do you think my exact wording should be when i go back in to the store to complain?
