I just wanted to bring it to people's attention, figured i'd chime in after I watched a movie, didn't know I'd get flamed for it....

I just find it funny that Google went after Motorola patents in order to gain legal ground to sue Apple, and now the FTC is biting them in the butt...

apologies for watching a movie...

No worries brotha, just keeping you honest ;)

Yeah I find it pretty strange that Goog/Moto are under FTC investigation for supposedly abusing FRAND type patents, yet Apple can somehow get away with murder and do the same thing by getting the Galaxy Nexus banned over simple things like slide to unlock, autocorrect, etc and you don't see the FTC investigating Apple over this.

Since this is part of the FRAND patent, Microsoft joined Apple in suing Google, and Apple went after an injunction for the Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Nexus over software patents...and sued Samsung...different.

There is no denying Apple has it out for google and samsung, but they have google in their crosshairs, and samsung is just collateral damage, they are after Android and will go about it any which way.

I wouldn't say they get away with murder, but they def have the upper hand in the legal field this week...which has been rare since the past year for them has been a downer in courts...
