FTP Connections

My free php host, hostultra.com, seems to report to me that I have too many open connections when I use Cyberduck and I time out when I use Fugu. Does anyone know how to "disconnect" all of these open connections? Disconnecting in Cyberduck doesn't help, and I only run into the problem when I am uploading. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Not sure if this is just hitting the problem with a different hammer, but have you tried RBrowserLite? I find it to be a very good file transfer program. I've never had any troubles of your description with any of the many hosting accounts I have held.
