That would be nice... Apps have the ability to access the camera roll right? For that matter I think they can access the whole pictures library. However after that I dont think the dev has access to anything else.

I understand the limitedness that you have with this app, but from what I can see the app wraps all the text, formating of code is very important to me and as I am sure many other developers. There should at least be an option to have it not format the text.

colored syntax would be nice, but now Im just being picky right?

I understand that there was probably a lot of work that went into this product however in the end it doesnt matter how much work went into it when I come down to paying for it. Do to the nature of the app I cant see myself using it all too much. Which is why I dont think I could ever pay $10 for it.

I manage several of my own sites (10+ sites) and a couple of client sites and there have been numerous times where I've not been anywhere near a computer but needed to make an emergency edit after getting a phone call, or to just update a page while at a coffeehouse for what ever reason... so this app is a very much welcome (and needed) addition to my iPhone and I will be buying it here shortly.

My only question to geeksuperhero would be, does it allow you to change permissions of a file or folder? And if not, will you be able to add that in a future update?

Still, nice app for a good price; obviously not meant to be a full blown FTP client, but for quick edits on the go how can anyone complain? (if it does what the site says it can do.)

folks,

if you have telnet access to the machines your websites are running on then mocha telnet is good, I've just downloaded it and had a play, I have a seperate thread for this.

Looks interesting

I'm intestested in that app. I'm reading comments from others to decide if I want to buy it. It would be very useful for me, but it has to be robust and reliable. I'm sure it will have many competitors before long.

Yeah I maintain hundreds of sites, and this would be awesome for that quick change.

I will probably pick this up later today.

Especially since it has a text editor in it.

How poor are you that $10 is a consideration if this is something you might even use a handful of times in a year.

To answer several...

Uploading photos from the iPhone's library should be in one of the next updates coming soon.

Changing file permisions is very doable; should be pretty soon for that too.

I'm going to be busy the next few days :)

maybe you've heard of something called a budget? i buy better apps that i would actually use more than a few times a year.

and my iphone is jailbroken, so i can just use the free ncftp anyway.
