Hi there! I'm a switcher as of last week, and had a couple FTP-related questions. Since this is all new to me, forgive my ignorance.
Anyway, on my old Windows box, I was running Serv-U FTP, and I'm wondering what a good, equivalent server app is on the Mac. Or is there something built in to OSX that will give me the functionality that I require?
And secondly, what is a good FTP client for Mac? I have many sites that I connect to on a regular basis, and need the functionality of a CuteFTP or FlashFXP type of FTP client, that gives me advanced functionality, as opposed to using something simple and limiting like IE6.
Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks in advance, and my apologies if these are trivial questions.

Cool, thanks for the help guys. Hmm, what a surprise, my new Mac makes things easier on me in yet another way from my old Windows box. Seriously, I have already been finding so many little things like this that make things so much easier, sensible, etc. than on my Windows box, it's unreal! The latest one was finding out that all the MP3/WAV conversions, editing, burning, etc., that I do can be done in Sound Studio, yet another built-in, free App with OSX. No need for expensive software like SoundForge anymore! And here I thought I'd need to pick up Logic or something like that....
Thanks again guys, I'll play around with the built-in FTP options and I'm sure they'll be more than adequate for my needs!

Unix my friend, Unix ... it's the wave of the future, Apple saw this saw this ... Unix is like the mouse trap and as the old saying goes "you can't build a better mouse trap"
and as far as the media needs - well i find that most people when hearing "mac" thing ... oh it's only good for "pictures and stuff" well since thats all i really use my computer for, and it does it well, i don't argue to much on that one... LOL
but combining unix - the most powerful, with mac - the most usable ... sheer genius
enjoy your mac ... you can stop thinking and start working
