recently had a court case and i received a FTR [for the record] cd,s. problem is i cant find out how to play it on my mac. i even tried it under VMware fusion and couldnt get anywhere/ tried the Alltomp3 but that didnt work either. hate to have to go buy a windows computer just for this one disk.

From what I read it seems there are differences within the FTR standard. I would personally open hex editor and look inside, sometimes it is possible to salvage info, but without sample of a file it is really hard to tell what's going on ...

Call to court or vendor and ask what soft you need to play the thing?

well i downloaded the For the Record player form there site and installed it on Windows 7 on VMware fusion, got it to work. also see it give me the option to record it into a different format. now i might be able to change it to Mp3.
