I'm pretty disappointed in the Otterbox Defender case for the iPad Pro. It's basically a scaled-up version of their standard Defender cases. It has the addition of a slot for the Apple Pencil on the hard screen cover, but there's no way to utilize the data ("keyboard") port on the side of the device that's currently unique to the iPad Pro. I thought this was a huge missed opportunity; if they could have integrated a keyboard into the hard snap-on case, and somehow had it integrate with that data port, it would have been pretty awesome. (That, and stop cutting out a circle in the back to show off the Apple logo. We're buying these cases for full protection, not to make a fashion statement! Does anyone really care if the Apple logo shows on the back?)

LifeProof makes cases that are something of a direct competitor to Otterbox's cases, but goes a few steps further in making cases that are also waterproof. As of now they don't have a case for the iPad Pro, and their website doesn't seem to indicate that they're working on one.

Does anyone know of any case similar to the Otterbox Defender? Basically something that covers the entire iPad and that includes a screen protector built-in. I use my device at work (hospital) and regularly wipe it down with bleach wipes, so I prefer the cases that have everything built together as there are fewer openings and cracks for the bleach to get through.

Currently using an iPad Mini with the Otterbox Defender case (before they had that awful cut-out in the back for the Apple logo), and am strongly considering replacing it with an iPad Pro... but finding a proper case is a critical part of the deal.

Happy holidays, thanks for reading, and thanks for any suggestions you may have.
