I've just bought an iPad 9 for my Mum to replace her aged iPad Air. She currently has the full leather case that Apple used to make, is there anything like this for iPad 9? Trying to avoid the plastic back models most retailers seem to sell.

Thanks in advance.

If she’s willing to do without a back cover, you can still get genuine Apple leather Smart Covers in new condition on eBay. The leather Smart Covers made for the 10.5” iPad Pro also fit iPad 7, 8, and 9 (This can be confirmed by filtering for them on Apple online store where the leather one is still shown but unavailable).

Nomad has one but isn't inexpensive https://nomadgoods.com/products/rug...VMwTYztsDaZxmUAqJYFMaLDOTLgbOVksaAneuEALw_wcB
I have one and it is the closest I have found -it has leather on front and leather covers the plastic on the back, is slim, and feels really really nice
Just received mine for my 12.9 Pro 5th gen and it's really very well made. I don't mind paying the price considering the fit/finish and quality is top notch. They had a Black Friday sale so picked it up at $125 so still pretty pricey
