Hi all !
Today I've proceeded to the long awaited upgrade of the WiFi and BT in my Mac Pro5,1 (mid 2010) Monoprocessor 6-core @3,33GHz SDRAM 48GB@1333MHz Radeon RX 560 4Go

> I've replaced the original WiFi by this one : BCM94360CD

and everything works fine in Monterey 12.3 (with OpenCore)

EXCEPT ONE BIG THING : the FRONT FAN (and only him) runs at full speed fews seconds after I've pressed the Power Button and never stops :(

I tried to :
– reset NVRAM/PRAM > no effect
– same problem under Mojave, Catalina, Big Sur, Monterey but WiFi and BT work fine under all these macOS.

I checked with Macs Fan Control and I see that :

No way to manually change the fan speed.

I need you help please, to fix this front fan problem.

Thank you all in advance.
Guillaume

You probably just poked the fan connecter a bit or applied too much pull on the cable and now the connector isn‘t seated properly anymore.
Disconnect it completely, clean it, reconnect it.
It‘s the 4-pin plug right next to the WiFi/BT module.
