Anybody having trouble with fullscreen caller IDs under iOS 9? New contacts or existing contacts who's photos are edited refuse to show fullscreen. Even when I revert to an old photo it doesn't work.

How are you testing? It seems to me (from memory) I only get full screen caller photos when the call comes into a locked phone. If I am looking at an unlocked phone I get the smaller photo.

It isn't working when the phone is locked or unlocked. I'm testing this by calling from other phones. Changing photos doesn't resolve anything

I'm having the same issue as well. I set a photo from my phone to one of my contacts and when that contact called me, I only got the small circle

This isn't the first time this has happened. Was it 7 or 8 that caused this too? Although that time I think just editing the photo again fixed it. Wonder why an update keeps breaking something so basic

mmmh... seems to work properly for me (iOS 9.0.2)
Have you tried to edit a contact photo or setup a new contact? It works for older contacts that were saved under iOS 8 (before the OS upgrade). New or edited contacts don't show full screen. It's like the phone is not saving the pictures in a high enough resolution, and therefore not showing the caller ids in full screen

I tried with a new contact and it worked.
Now I switched it off. Tomorrow I will try to edit an existing contact and I'll let you know

It seems I got the full screen caller id working by setting the photo and not zooming in or adjusting the position of the photo. The same photo in iOS8 worked when it was zoomed in. Gonna do some more test.

Mine seems to be random; an old contacts photo that I didn't edit came up full screen; then I edited a contact photo with a new picture and it wasn't full screen

I want the photos but want them small! Problem started appearing then I restored a contacts backup and they were re downloaded from iCloud. Now all contacts show full screen but don't sync with Facebook :(
