Hi everyone,

I have a new iMac with a bluetooth wireless keyboard (short, no numpad) and by default the function keys point to special Mac-like things, such as access Dashboard, Show Windows etc., you know. I want to redirect this functionality to fn+function key, so I can use the F keys normally in other applications, otherwise I can't access application specific options.

How can I achieve that? I went through my whole System preferences and I can't find an option to do that.

Thanks in advance.
PR.

Indeed, thanks. I oversaw it.

There is a free app called FunctionFlip that let's you individually select which keys act normally and which do special things.

Very handy if you like some of the special functions but need the other keys to be normal function keys.
