I don't understand why nobody has screamed at the top of their lungs about this completely idiotic change. All images can now have their text selected. How come nobody has problems with this?

Now, the behavior with any large image is select the text in the picture. Even if the text is a logo like Nike or Adidas. You can select it! Images are not images anymore, they're word documents!

This design is ABSOLUTELY assinine, and needs to be brought to the design team.

Use case problems now occuring:
1) Browsing photos? Zoom out? Oops! Now you can't zoom out! You accidentally selected the text on someone's t-shirt because double tap is now select
2) Want to share a photo? NOPE, wrong! You've not selected text on a infographic, because I'm sure you really just wanted to copy of that text to a friend, and clearly NOT share a picture.
3) Found something interesting? Want to zoom in? Nope, double tapping on any area that has text NOW SELECTS IT!!!
4) Did you know you could scan text in any field now? It's the most asked for option, so we put it in EVERY INPUT FIELD KNOWN TO MAN KIND
5) Did I tell you about our lord and savior, the scan text option? 'Cause it's everywhere now, everywhere. You want to chat with your buddy, SCAN TEXT. You want to sext with your gf? SCAN TEXT!

Apple is really finished as a design agency with iOS15.

Geez, talk about a bit dramatic. It's a bit annoying when you accidentally select text instead of double tap but if you do the double tap to zoom in fast enough it doesn't trigger text selection. I actually think the scan to text in text fields is really useful and have used it a lot. I couldn't think where else you could put the icon if not in the text box.
