hi, im about to make the switch after 3 months of waiting on a new ibook and am grabbin a new credit card to get 6 months interest free credit, now i have lurked here for an age and remember seeing a post about a credit card company or bank that gave a discount or money back for purchases from the apple website, can anyone help me out here, any cash i can save will make it possible to up the ram.

cheers

The card was egg money but I don't think they do the apple discount anymore. The discounts are now for stuff no-one wants (like airport lounge passes wow!!!!).

If you are a student go to the nusonline.co.uk site and you get about 15% off (more than standard edu discount)

doh, shame theres nothing else out there like it.

i thought of the student thing as i have a relative at uni but they would then have to deal with the applecare stuff if anything came up and theres the paying on credit card.

im not super tight with my cash b.t.w .. just have a holiday , new sofa and a house thats being renovated to pay for :D

thanks b.t.w
