"Funny" Google Chrome issue after Beta 6

After Beta 6 installed, I am experiencing that when I open up Google Chrome everything is fine as usual. However, if I click a hyperlink in a document, email, etc., and Chrome opens up, it is a "different" version. This version does not have all my usual extensions loaded, and it doesn't have my bookmarks etc. It is like a more limited version.

Is this just something funny on my Mac Pro, or has anyone else experienced this?

I have not this exact issue, and I don't use Chrome. But I have had similar issues in earlier betas of macOS (not Big Sur) where apps worked different on each load. And the cause was down to issues with loading preferences from the plists. It maybe related.
