I had selected the "System Preferences" icon at the bottom right of the "Notification" panel from the menubar and hung for a couple seconds so I clicked it again and then I had three separate System Preferences panels open in the dock and windows. Didn't think you could open three instances of the same app :D

Haha this has happened to me, and i've posted a thread about it. glad i'm not the only one though. :p

edit: I was able to recreate it with a bunch more windows this time.

THanks "Dewroo"! I just added this thread to my bug report with Apple so they can see this has happen with more than one user.

This kinda reminds me of how you could spam Windows Explorer windows in Windows Vista and XP by holding the Start key + E. It was such fun annoying my Windows-using friends with it.

If this bug makes it through to Mountain Lion's release, I could see this becoming a new way to seriously annoy Mac users. :p
