Is anyone waiting for this Autumn to purchase AirPods?

I'm currently debating whether or not to purchase the 2nd Gen now. The Pro's is out of my budget. I'm just thinking though if new models are released in the Autumn, they'll become cheaper..

Although the article was written in 2018. States wireless charing model in Q1 of 2019 that has happened..

I'm still using my first gen AirPods and they're good for my needs. Found a deal on a Wireless Charging case and that's enough of an upgrade for me at this point. When those die, I'll figure out what I want to when that time comes.
