I have a question for you (and I also asked Apple about it few weeks ago, but I never got an answer)...

A lot of those renders / mockups made by Apple fans (future iPhones etc.) are using Apple logo, Apple product names. I'm just wondering if it's not some kind of Apple trademark infringement (if you create the render / or if you publish it)?

I don't think the creators have some special license from Apple, or am I wrong?

Thank you for your answers.

It probably is infringement in some way, as they are likely not authorized by Apple to use their logo.

Whether or not Apple chooses to go after them for doing so is another matter...

It falls under fair use in the manner they are using them. Now if some company were to actually use those renders in a printed ad or other sales materials, then yes it would be trademark infringement.
