The majority of reviews I see seem to all agree - the hardware on the new iPad pro is fantastic but it's limited by iOS. My question - if you were to buy an iPad pro now and something resembling a "padOS" came around in the future, do you think these devices would be able to handle that type of move and do you think Apple would make it happen?

I’m positive that I’m ios13 we’ll see some big improvements. My theory would be that they were actually underway for ios12, but then got stopped when Apple forced the devs to halt new features and focus on stability and performance with iOS 12, as was rumored.

Some features were stopped, I think dealing with the desktop home screen, and put aside for iOS 13. But while USBC has been used for HDMI on Android, or using a dock.... doubtful.

Never buy a device expecting a future update will provide a change you need or strongly desire unless its a publicly released statement of intent from the vendor and even then be skeptical.

Always the best advice. Though I do think iOS 13 should improve things, how much, who knows.
