So!

i decided to go nuts and try out those crazy jail breaking thingys. First i tried one that you just go to on your iphone's browser and it does everything for you, second, i tried ifuntastic. This is pretty neat stuff... but it wasn't really for me. So i've restored my iphone to factory settings... (here comes my question) was wondering, since i restored the "backup" of my iphone that itunes had. Is my iphone still safe from apple's updates etc?

thanks ahead of time,

Koree

I dont see why not. Updates have never bricked an iPhone with just third party apps.

The only concern is when an iPhone is unlocked to work on another carrier. Once that is done, even when used with ATT, the update can brick it.
