Future Updates in Mountain Lion?

My girlfriend and I both have Macs. I have a iMac and a MBP, she a MBP. Because we are all in the same household, we were going to buy one copy of Mountain Lion and share it. We did this with Lion, and it worked fine.

However, Software Update is gone in ML, right? So everything is done through the Mac App Store. Will I have to track down her computer every time there is an update to plug in my password, or is this going to be password-free updates like Lion is?

Similar question for iWork. I have the retail version; does anyone know how the updates will work with that?

Yes.

It says right in the License Agreement [Section 2 : B : (i)] that you are allowed "to download, install, use and run for personal, non-commercial use, one (1) copy of the Apple Software directly on each Apple-branded computer running OS X Lion or OS X Snow Leopard ("Mac Computer") that you own or control."

Because we live together (in essence a domestic partnership) our property can legally be considered to be owned by both of us.

EDIT: I should make note that the section I've references only refers to Mac App Store purchases and not pre-installed versions, the uptodate version or any other single license versions.

If you purchased software on a given appleID, you'll get updates to it on any mac as long as you log in to App Store with that Apple ID. I have this happening with XCode across 3 macs under my control. iWork, ML etc shouldn't be any different.

So you would need three copies for three devices.

I figured that might be the case, but I was hoping not. We have two different iTunes accounts that we usually use (helps keep our apps, pictures, notes and everything separate and private with all this iCloud syncing), so she would have to log in with a new account every time. Seems like it'll be a hassel. I guess we'll go ahead and buy two versions. Thanks.
