I was in the UK and went to pick up an SE for my friend at the big Apple store on Regent St. The salesman was kind enough to tell me that they were on sale at John Lewis (A major department store and authorized Apple seller) for 239 pounds.
Thank you Apple for running such an honest operation. He told me that they can match other prices but only up to 10% off. After the VAT back that 239 pounds became 213 pounds or $275. Here in Europe that is a great deal! And even though it is probably about to be discontinued it is a lot of phone for the money if you are good with a 4" screen.
