FWP - Apple Card isn’t changing color

First World Problem

My Apple Card in the wallet app hasn’t changed colors. It still has the same purple orange green yellow colors it always had. I’ve only done 3 transactions total, which were dining. Two are from the physical card and one from Apple Pay. I have an iPhone 6 Plus running the latest iOS 12. Does the color changing only work on the newer phones? Woe is me!

I remember reading from another post that it could be due to having your location turned off for wallet. I wish I remember which post it was from. I hope that helps

Since the "colors" are gotten from the type of purchase (food, clothing, etc.) I don't think the location has anything to do with it. I know on my wife's iPhone 8+ it also changes the colors in the wallet.
