G-Fi with iPad?

So perhaps this G-Fi device will set those of us at ease who decided to get the wifi only iPad.. That's assuming the software will be ported over to the iPad..

Just get the built-in 3G modem which is a better deal.

I know I know.. Just thought I'd share this tidbit.. I plan on using my palm pre as a tether if I'm not around a wifi hotspot even though I know 3g is faster..

I use a rooted Motorola Droid as a cellphone with WiFi tethering enabled. I opted not to get the 3G iPad model and just get the WiFi-only version.
