I set the startup folder on my B&W G3 to OS 9 so I could play some games and rebooted. Well, it is not booting into OS 9 and I have no way to change my startup disk back. The farthest into 9 I have gotten is where it loads the extensions, the progress bar is almost at the end and then it freezes.

The G3 300 is OCd to 400, and the machine has 704 MB RAM. It has Jaguire (what I want to run) and os9. Any suggestions on getting it back running?

Reboot and when you hear the chime, hold down your option key. You should be able to choose Jaguar, and don't forget to change your startup disk there.

Also, try holding shift when booting into 9 to keep the extensions from loading. Then once you've booted into 9 you can trouble shoot your extensions.

Duff-Man says.....holding the "X" key will force it to boot into OS X. The "option" key thing only works if the OS's are on separate volumes....oh yeah!
