Hey just bought two sticks of 256 RAM PC133 for my G4 AGP Desktop and now that I've installed it my computer is really slow. The first time I tried booting it up after installing the RAM it froze while loading up and the second time I was able to check the system to make sure the RAM was reading and it said I had the proper amount of RAM I should have but then when I went to click out of it- it froze again.. Any quick thoughts?

1. Make sure that they are PC133 DIMMs and not, say, PC66.

2. Open the case, remove the DIMMs and re-seat them carefully, making sure they are all the way in.

3. If that doesn't help, try putting one in at a time, and see if one is problematic.

4. If that doesn't work, consider replacing the memory.
