Anyone use after market batteries for their note 2? Batteries bought on Ebay or Amazon. I saw this wall charger and 2 battery combo for 20 bucks on Amazon. Anybody have any thoughts?

Never used any generic batteries but out of all components I tend to be wary of batteries. Also note that NFC chips AFAIK are in the actual battery itself so with those that feature might not work. If you use NFC this might be an issue.

I had an S3 and ended up getting 2 original batteries (2100 mAh) and 3 generic batteries (2x2300 mAh and 1x3250 mAH) and ended up only using the original ones. The generic ones didn't seem to actually last me any longer.

I guess for that price it's worth trying and if they turn out to be crap then at least you have the charger and you can order 2 original ones.

The NFC on the Note II is on the battery cover.

To avoid confusion and NFC battery means the antenna is on the battery not the chip itself.
