Galaxy Note 7 Colors

I am in the market for the Note 7 nowadays, and was going to go ahead and order it online.

I am coming from an iPhone and have always hated the white faced phones with the bezel around the screen.

I have it narrowed down to the Silver Titanium or the black. Just wondering thoughts (I haven't seen one in person yet). Is the bezel on the silver ones bad? I really like the color of it so it is the one I most likely will go with if the bezel around the screen isn't bad.

Yeah, I really really like the color of the silver and somewhat of a fan of the black, but I just can't stand the bezels around the screen! lol

I had this decision between the black and titanium S7.....I ended up going with the black and im super happy I did

I initially owned a titanium s7 first:

1) I loved the colour. Very unique amongst smartphones, where they all are white or black or grey or what have you these days
2) Felt very premium
3) Matched very nicely with the default touchwiz theme and other "bright" themes

but then I exchanged it for the black S7:

1) OLED displays "true" blacks...turn the screen off and it just melts away with the rest of the phone. Incredible design. This also makes other aspects of the phone just feel "cooler" such as the always on display bouncing around this pure black area, or the notification LED flashing, again amidst this pure black background
2) for me the biggest reason was the reflections on the titanium s7....I place my phone on a dash mounted phone holder in my car, meaning it sits on the dashboard. At night, the reflections of headlights from others cars were noticeable and annoying (if at the worst, I feared, potentially unsafe) off the reflective titanium colour


I know black is that "tried, true and boring" colour but i say go for it over the titanium. Thats my 2 cents.

They both look great. I just found titanium to be too reflective.

Now, get the black phone, throw on a dark theme and appreciate it *that* much more. So slick.

If you hate bezels get black. I don't mind moderate bezels and I like blue so I went with blue. It's not super reflective like silver can be and can be dark or light depending on the environment. But it's not for every taste. I think all of the Note 7 colors are gorgeous and if the only way I could have had one was if someone had picked one out at random for me, I would have been pleased with whatever I was handed.

I've had several black and white front iPhones/iPads but my S7 I went for black as it looks the best in my opinion. I do kinda wish I'd got a black/space grey iPad Pro 9.7 rather than the gold/white I have now..

I have ordered the black Note 7 after cancelling the blue. I would actually prefer a white Note 7 as I find the white S7 to be the best at concealing finger print smudges and looks the cleanest when in use, however there is no white Note 7 and the only colour options in europe is blue or black.

I appreciate the long response. That's what I was afraid of with the titanium is it having glare from lights and such. But the way you talk about the black that is the route I will go now. Sounds very nice!

yeah I only buy black apple products as I don't like the whites

The blue looks neat, but don't think I could look at it all day! Lol

I was playing with the black and titanium in the samsung experience store and found the black to be really sexy. While playing with the titanium one it caught a little glare off the display light in the ceiling and made it a little hard to read the screen, so my decision was made... I went with the black and I love it.

That's one of the things I was worried about. The color almost looks like a mirror was put in under some glass

I had the note 5 in silver and following all the reviews of the black onyx note 7 i switched to that. To be honest once you have a case on it the black just looks plain dull, its definition is lost, i wish now i had gone silver again as that break of colour really stands out

Things that make you go hmmm.... The US version of the Note 5 was available in gold with an Exynos processor. The US version of the Note 7? Nope for either one.

I didn't even know this. Haven't paid any attention to the note up until I started hating my iPhone! Lol
