Vodafone have confirmed they will be stocking the edge.

And it's available for pre order sim free on Clove and mobile fun too. Like around £650

Have you physically seen one? Just held one in my hands at Best Buy. Interesting concept, not sure I don't like my Note 4 better though. No Verizon version yet so I'm somewhat safe! LOL

The back is different so it doesn't look like the Note 4 S-Cover would fit. Be nice if they make one for it as you could use the edge screen for notifications.

I have to say I'm glad I passed on the Note Edge, as after having a chance to use it, I came away with doubts about it. That side screen really was somewhat awkward and in the way. It was kind of weird having the screen in portrait but the side in landscape. Then there's the issue of your thumb being on the screen. From there, I played with it a good bit, and tried to find how I'd potentially use it, but I couldn't find any really use for it beyond the novelty.

Conceptually, I like the attempt at something unique. However in actuality, I don't think it works out. It was so strange having a part of the screen sideways while the rest was portrait. Also, I found having additional home screen shortcuts in that bar, to be pointless and redundant.

a better place
I got my hands on one only the other day at a vodafone event. The novelty wore off on me as soon as I picked it up. It's surprisingly more plastic than the Note 3 / Alpha and feels closer in feel to the S5. The left handed mode is simply awful and really not thought through, and what I had demoed to me of what you could do with the extra screen space was so 'meh' I was left with no other thought than this is not the future of phones in any shape or form. The Note 4 would still be the better choice IMHO between the two. Let's face it has samsung even rolled out updates or continued to support the Galaxy round ? Because I have a feeling in 8 months time - the edge will be just as forgotten.
