Galaxy Note II tomorrow (UK)

I've just called my local 3 store and they're going to have it in store tomorrow. Thinking I might go and take look. Anyone else planning on doing the same? and what is the feature you want to see in person the most?

The note has been in the media for quite a while now - guess it would be higher profile than a newer version of an existing handset.

Pretty much gave you a courtesy up vote. I'd love a Note 2, but I have a Galazy S3, and with Jelly Bean rumored soon, I see no reason to switch just for the s pen.

Unfortunately, I live in the states. Otherwise, I would go check it out. If reports are true, the Note 2 will be available, on att, mid to late Nov. By then, the Note 2 will be thoroughly reviewed. It's a long wait but I am really expecting to get one.

Along with the S-pen, I am excited about the large screen; not only for web viewing but for S-pen use.

After you check it out, let us know what you think.

Ill be picking one up next month when it gets released here in North America. I have an S3 but if I end up liking the Note2 more than expected, I will use the GS3 as a back up device.

I'm not even a big fan of Samsung or the Note or the SIII, but have to admit, they are trying. Very cool features.

Air View and Multi-Window are very impressive.

The only thing I was skeptical or confused about on that video were

1) it shows multi-window with the messaging bottom pane, but doesn't show how on screen keyboard affects that.

2. Video playing micro sized hovering on something, seems like a 'we can do this' feature rather than a 'is this really practical?' Feature. A case of its doing it because it can do it, rather than because its actually useful.



Other than that good looking device. My only issue with Samsung devices is I'm not keen on the plastic build of devices, my SGS2 and Galaxy Nexus were nice, but felt a little cheap. Especially the very thin plastic backs of the device. It's the only reason I went with HTC one X over the SGS3.

I just walked 30mins there and 30mins back to and from my local 3 store only to find that they didn't have a display model out (but they were in stock?)

I specifically called up yesterday to check, I was told they would. Rather annoying.

just too much hassle, I already have a contract with 3 etc etc - but I like to buy my phones upfront rather than on a contract.

He said that they would have a display model out in the next few days so i'll try back then.

I also want to wait for some more in depth reviews to come out too.
