I'm a hardware guy through and through. And now that an Android OEM completely dominates in all hardware components of a device, most Apple enthusiasts have reverted to the "but it doesn't run iOS" argument. Which is a legit argument. But it used to be, "I buy iPhone because it has the best camera or the best display with most accurate colors." Which of course no longer holds water, not by a long shot. These days you hear, "well the camera or display on the iPhone is good enough for me." And you also see this in the media as well. They now say, "you can't go wrong with any flagship phone these days." No longer do we hear that a particular phone is clearly better than the other. Funny how that is. Only a few reviewers (MKBHD, Phonearena, Engadget come to mind) have come out and said straight out, the GS6/S6 Edge has the best display and camera hands down. But I have to wonder, what would sales of iPhone look like if the Galaxy S and Note line ran iOS. Wouldn't any tech enthusiast have no choice but to buy a Galaxy S or Note at that point? What reason would there to buy an iPhone for the same price or possibly more? What do you think would happen the Android market share? What are your thoughts?
