iPhone 12 with its mere 2815 mAh battery beats the s21 with 4000mAh, the note 20 ultra with 4500 mAh, and the s20 ultra with 5000 mAh. The 11 and 12 pro max both beat the S21 Ultras (both exynos and snapdragon). The 120HZ on the samsungs will be a factor, but its still interesting how apple can do so much with much smaller batteries.
