Do you prefer the stock web browser/Crome/or another browser? I just got this phone yesterday and am normally an iPhone user so I'm not too familiar with whats out there on the Google Play store.

I'm not an s3 user but if it's not upgraded to JB yet I really liked ICS Browser+. Doesn't do the cool sync but seemed really "light" and fast for me.

I use both, chrome and stock ICS.
I like chrome better but it is having some serious problems since I updated my HOX to 4.0.4
I also wish that it were easier to get to the bookmarks on Chrome.
It's not a huge deal but I like bookmark bars where I can pin my favorite sites on so that I don't have to go diving into all the folders I have full of bookmarks.

Chrome has a gyroscope bug that causes wakelocks and battery drain. Once that's fixed I'll use it again, but for now I'm stock browser.

Is this on the int'l version? Because this is the first I have heard of this, and I have zero battery problems???

Chrome is good in that it links to your desktop or other mobile device 'favorites' preventing you from having to import/export lists or retype everything again. And when you make a change in favorites, all devices with chrome will see the change. And it is pretty quick.
Bad side is no tabs and relatively few desktop like options.

Maxthon Browser is a more traditional browser. Tabs at the top, that stay there even when scrolling down, all the buttons you expect like forward, back, home, refresh, Page up and down, favorites, favorite star, etc... And you can create an online id, so you favorites are always available. Plenty of gestures with his browser too, if you are want that sort of thing. BTW, this is both a desktop and mobile browser.

I have the international version yeah, don't know if that's a factor though. A lot of people thought it was something to do with the tilt developer option, but I have that off and still get wakelocks with it.

No GSIII, but I use Chrome on my GSII. It's the best combo overall, sync is slick, browser itself is fast and love how you can use the tab feature or just swipe pages, and it's similar to Opera in the sense of how well it formats pages and reflows text. I have Dolphin HD, Boat, stock ICS, Maxathon etc, kinda went crazy at one point trying all different browsers. Stuck with Dolphin HD, but once I had Chrome installed with the new rom... froze everything else and stuck with Chrome.

I have "tilt" checked off in settings which is the bug I think mentioned above. But otherwise, see no wakelocks or battery drain. If anything I'm actually getting the best browser life on Chrome vs others lol.

Ahh see, on my Macs I prefer Safari 6 instead of Chrome so the syncing feature isn't that much of a "bonus" for me. :p

I use Chrome if I don't need Flash. If I do, I use the stock browser. I wasn't impressed with Chrome on my Transformer tablet, but I am on the SGS3. The stock browser on the SGS3 isn't as good as the stock browser on the Transformer. I primarily use the stock browser on the Transformer.

Chrome, it's fast, fun and very stable.

Not sure why I'm not having the problems some have reported, but I'm not complaining.

Google will get it sorted out soon. I've been using Android concurrently alongside of iOS and find that despite all the moaning about fragmentation, it's not the devil people make it out to be.

On my 9th Android phone because I'm an enthusiast that likes variety, I'm now using a Galaxy S III as my primary Android phone and it's simply stellar.

I prefer the stock browser over chrome as chrome takes long to draw when scrolling on certain sites. I am on a galaxy nexus with jellybean though. I thought the ics browser was better than chrome as well. Not sure if samsung slowed it down at all with the extra touchwiz stuff though.

I was using Chrome until I found out about the quick controls in the stock browser which can be found in Browser > settings > labs
