As much as i would love a waterproof galaxy s4 i think the active version will be a completly different downgraded device. Why else didnt they include waterproofness on their s4 as it is now?
I can only hope though.

What do you think?

The cpu and ram actually will probably be identical. Samsung released the rugby pro with the same cpu and ram as the s3.

No i think the difference will be a sealed backside and a higher price point for the additional materials costs.

Google it. Enough rumors to find because a ceo of samsung talked about it.

Because OP is lazy: http://www.theverge.com/2013/4/26/4...ruggedized-galaxy-s4-active-new-8-inch-tablet

Apparently Motorola isn't the only smartphone manufacturer working to make its devices more durable; the Wall Street Journal is reporting that Samsung will release a ruggedized version of the Galaxy S4 this summer. The waterproof and dust-proof version of Samsung's flagship is tentatively being referred to as the Galaxy S4 Active, according to the report, and other than the toughened build is said to largely resemble the regular model in appearance.

And for pricing, the S4 is more expensive in New Zealand than the iPhone 5. $1150 s4 vs $1025 for a 16gb iPhone 5

I have a waterproof camera as it is, but I guess if your phone was waterproof it would protect against accidents.

Remember when you could just be at a pool party and push someone in? Oh how I miss those days!
