Unless this is coming from all the US carriers, this is more of a pipe dream. Don't see how Samsung is going to be able to bypass all the carrier B.S.?

By the way, what is Samsung Wallet and why would the carriers allow this, when they are backing Isis and have prevented Google Wallet?

With all of the whining and complaining here about how bad HTC is a providing updates, I'm shocked that they have released the 4.3 update before Samsung.

Samsung put out a Google edition 4.3 gs4 months before HTC did

Sorry but the Google Edition S4 and HTC One GE came out (launched) on the same day !!!!

They both launched with 4.2.2 and then we're updated to 4.3 on the same day also. NOT months before.....

Sounds more than likely given features in current Note 3 4.3 software. They are really pushing Knox and it's going to make it a nightmare for people flashing roms as they have introduced a Knox tampered counter that can't be wiped with Triangle Away !....

Just in time for 4.4 to be released.

Yea, and 4.3 has been out for over 3 months too. This is a big reason I left Android. Being held hostage by your carrier for updates, all because they take their sweet time to perfect the bloatware cluttering up your phone  You are always an update or two behind and if your carrier decides to drop support for your phone after a year, you are SOL. Im on Verizon, so going Nexus or Google Play edition of a phone is not an option.

But bashing Android is. Do you EVER stop?

And not getting the Nexus isn't Google's fault. Blame your old ass network standard using carrier for that. Maybe if they'd step into the 21st century (and hadn't destroyed the fake Galaxy Nexus that they carried), you'd actually get the Nexus.

Move along and stay in the iPhone section where you belong.

Its ok, Ive had all 4 major carriers and for the area I am in, Verizon is by far the best service. Would rather have excellent service, signal and data speeds then a Nexus phone on a sub par carrier.

I don't really whine about not getting updates asap, unless a major feature is rolling out along with it.

Even on iOS, I don't update right away unless it's a drastic update. Cause I'll have to wait several months for a untethered Jailbreak, then also wait for any non working jailbroken apps to be updated.

Maybe those are the dates worked out by the carriers. Also, Google Wallet was never supported on my GS3 and i assume because of T-mobile who supports Isis but now it is and it is working.
Since i have had my GS3 since July 1st of last year ive had 4 updates. Went from 4.0 to where i am now on 4.1.2, plus a couple of TMo updates so i have no reason to doubt this will happen.

Then stop whining. Verizon is too expensive and their customer service is crap.

Really i dont even care if i get 4.3. It isnt anything spectacular and i dont need every update. Just like Apples little updates arent anything to speak of....even if you can have them. Doesn't mean you need them. Some people just think they need every update.

Now 4.4 id like to have.

Well, looking at the list of what's new, there really isn't anything that I have to get. I'm very happy with my SGS3 as is on 4.1.2. There aren't any major bugs that I need fixed.

It would be nice to get Samsung's Wallet app. Support for the watch would be nice too, I was thinking of checking that out at some point.

I rooted my S4 a while back, updating would undo that, correct?

Incorrect. Verizon is the same price as AT&T. Sprint and T Mobile are useless in this area.

Overall,Verizon is the most expensive service and its not incorrect that their customer service is crap.

You should have a icon to Samsungs app store. SS wallet only has 2.5 stars.

Verizon and AT&T are the same price. T-Mobile has awful reception and data speeds here and you have to pay full retail price for your phone? LOL. Ripoff. Sprint isn't even worth mentioning, they still don't even have LTE in more than a few areas going into 2014.

Obviously you don't know how tmobile works. When you sign a two year contract with Verizon, its pretty much the same thing as paying full retail. The plans cost more and your stuck with that phone for two years.

When I switched to the value plans, I saved $50 a month over the old one even when paying $20 per month for the phones. And those were the old Value plans. They have changed a lot since then.

With Jump, I can upgrade twice a year and its still cheaper than any other plans going..its not a ripoff, you just dont understand how it works. Its way cheaper.
I pay $144 for five lines. How much do you pay?

Yes Verizon has good service but they are much higher and were higher than att last i checked.

Incorrect. Verizons data share plans are more expensive as they do not decrease the per line cost based on the data package. Sprint is actually the most expensive of all for a plan with 3 lines or more for the average 2GB per line user, albeit the unlimited data.

Verizon has the best service, but their customer service does suck.

That would be cool if it was, it'll give my Note 2 a nice boost without having to upgrade the phone itself!
