Any way to get rid of it? Almost all wallpapers i use look like **** because of it. When i unlock the device i can't see any green tint on the home screen, so it's not a hardware issue.

It's really annoying especially if you use greyscale picture.

Strangely it happens on the S6 edge, Note 5 but not on my Edge Plus. So it's clearly software issue, hopefully Samsung see fit to update Note 5 & S6 Edge so that they too don't do this.

I examined it again and I don't see a green hue or tint... So you don't think its hardware?

No its def a software bug that had been on the lock screen for a long while. They are clearly fixing it in some firmwares but it does mean there are still users with the bug/issue until their software is updated.

I don't have that on my S6 edge, but just recently my lock screen has looked like a dull matte instead of matching the homescreen's vibrance. It started when I was playing around with applying themes, then when I went back to default and applied the wallpaper, I could never get it as vibrant as the home screen again. Doesn't bother me, but just something I noticed.

Maybe it's a theme issue?

LIVEFRMNYC's issue or the strange colour on top of lock screen ?

If it's the latter It's not a theme issue as I have same themes on all my devices yet two have this bug but one doesn't. All are running official Samsung unbranded firmware.

yes it is

Stop being silly - this is not a pantomime. The green issue only occurs on the lock screen and only on devices running certain firmwares. It does not occur on home screen regardless. It is not an Amoled issue, it is not a hardware issue. Period.

I installed a software update yesterday and it went away. So i guess they fixed it.
