Just got a Mystic Bronze. Didn't feel like delaying my shipping date by choosing a hinge color.

That black and gold combo looks nice though.

Went with bronze. Usually I select black but I'll pick matte finish over gloss every time.

Yes it's 5 weeks, but not an extra 5 weeks. The plain device takes 2.5 weeks, so the custom hinge takes an extra 2.5 weeks. Maybe I thought you saw it as an extra 5 weeks beyond the main 2 color choices.

The way I read it is...it takes 5 weeks from the time your order it to get the device with the color combos.
I didn't see where it said it only takes 2.5 weeks. It says 5 weeks from the time it was ordered.

So after public release on Sept 18th...my guess is it will still say 5 weeks. I could be wrong....

Sure. Plain device doesn't say 2.5 weeks, it's just understood from Sep 1st to Sep 18th is 2.5 weeks and Sep 1st to early Oct is 5 weeks. My order just updated to "Customizing", so I guess I'll find out if they ship early!

Those still getting the Fold, a lot of people that have seen the Mystic Bronze in-stores are saying its pretty much rose gold aka pink. Not sure if its the exact same color as the Mystic Bronze on the Note series, but seems like pretty much everyone says it looks pink. Something to think about. Shame the black isnt in matte.

Straight up black. I would have picked up a colored hinge but didn't want to wait the extra couple of weeks. My only concern is having a slippery fingerprint magnet, but oh well there is always Dbrand. The bronze looks too pinkish for my tastes, but I will be jealous of the matte finish. I really wish they released more colors, I really love the pearlish matte white of my iphone 11.
