The new Game Center Terms of Service being pushed out today state:

If you choose to have your public profile set to “on”, other users of the Service can see your full profile, including your full name, your activity (such as the games you have played and when you played them), your scores, and your achievements, and you can be recommended as a friend to other users. If you choose to have your public profile set to “off”, only users with whom you have established a friend relationship can see your full profile, and you will not be recommended to others; only your nickname and photo will be visible to users who are not friends.

How do you set the public profile to "off"?

I found out how to turn the public profile off: in Game Center, go to the "Me" tab, tap on the "Account" banner, and select "View Account."

Here's a question: If I've never used Game Center, never plan to use it and haven't logged into Game Center, do I still have to worry that my info is set to Public Profile? I have enabled Restrictions and turned both Game Center settings OFF. What is the default Profile status for someone who has never used Game Center?

In other words, do I have to login to the miserable thing in order to protect my Apple Profile data by setting Profile to Private or is it not a problem since I haven't used it? Bad enough that I can't just make Game Center go away; I certainly don't want to worry about Privacy issues from non-use. :(

Also, if I have a family member who decides to use Game Center and we share the same Apple ID for apps & purchases (as many families do) will my info then be listed? Egad.
