Game centre bug!

I have GC turned off in settings.

But since downloading ios 11 it asks me to sighn in every time I open a game!

Very annoying!

It appears to be bundled with iCloud now in a way that doesn't allow you to sign out of Game Centre independently.

So there is no point turning it off in settings!!

The option in iCloud setting is related to storage of data across devices. It is not about sign on to the service. So far as I can see in neither High Sierra nor iOS11 is there an independent sign on to Game Centre. This makes me think it is a deliberate choice rather than a bug.
