Hello!
After reading the FAQ I bought Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Analog 3 . It is recognized by the system and keys can be configured with GamePad Companion from the AppStore.
In the Dirt2 there is only a profile for keyboard wher I can assign Functions to the keyboard or gamepad. The steering is like with the arrow buttons very bad.
Does anybody have experiences with this device? (or another one)

Gamepad companion will disable the gamepad in any game that is designed to work with gamepads already. Dirt 2 should recognise the gamepad, just press a button on the pad when it is loading and it will start using the pad.
By using Gamepad Companion you are stopping the game's built in support from working. If you have a problem just ping out support team and one of our support staff can help you out.
I tested bought the gamepad for 14,90 and it does well within the game.
For starting and maneuvring through the menus I use the mac keyboard. In the car settings it is possible to assign gamepad-keys to special functions.
The telephone-support told me the gamepad works with HID standard = Human Interface Device. For Mac there is no driver needed.
