As I recall Apple used to be No.1 for photo editing. How is it in the game development department? Not said to start a fight, but it seems that most of that is happening not on Macs. I have been learning Unreal Editor on my PC and am in the process of cranking it up on my 6 year old intel MBP while I'm traveling as this is my only laptop.
Then I started thinking that upgrading to a Silicon Mac might be a good move as my current laptop in getting old in the tooth, but after reading the lined article, I'm not so sure how well the Silicon Macs run Unreal Editor 5.1. I can't say it is supported at this point. Does anyone here have first hand experience with UE on your Silicon Mac?
Thanks.

Running Unreal Engine 5.1 On Apple M1/M2 Hardware –
As of Unreal Engine 5.1, UE has support for the Apple Silicon (M1/M2 chips). Unfortunately you have to build from source to test it yourself.
