Hi all.

Is it possible for me to get UT for free? I don't think they sell it in stores anymore, and I don't have Paypal or a credit card.

I just want to play a modification called Thievery (thieveryut.com), and UT is required.

And, can anyone recommend some good commercial games for me to run on my $599 Intel Mac mini (latest)?

I was thinking Guitar Hero 3, but it doesn't seem like it'd run too well. I really like shooters and rpgs. :)

EDIT: Sorry, I don't want to do anything involving piracy (does it really matter, though? The game costs like $5).. that wasn't what I was meaning.

Hi all.

Hi there

Some ebay traders do accept cheques and postal orders. I'd look there for an old copy. Amazon Marketplace traders are also worth a look.

re gaming on your Mac Mini. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I'm fairly certain that most modern 3D games, GH3 being one, will not run on a Mac Mini. This is apparently due to it having an 'integrated chip set'. Why that makes a difference I don't know. Presumably stand-alone graphics card are essential though.

GH3 looks quite demanding - I'm not sure it would perform well on my iMac.

Good luck!

It might be hard finding UT in stores now, I got mine in the Unreal Pack on Steam (about £30 for every Unreal game) but it's the PC version so :(

All I can really recommend off the top of my head is Cave Story. There's a translated OSX version somewhere, and it's completely free and bloody brilliant.
