Hi everyone,

has anyone tested the TVos15 with a HomePod mini? Does it now have an option to set as the TV speaker and do sound play when playing games?

At the moment I have to pair via Bluetooth to an Amazon Echo Studio speaker to hear sounds with games.

thanks for your help :)

Strange. After testing it yesterday, I can pair the Apple TV to the Echo Studio via Bluetooth and the menu and game sounds work ok. Also, the volume + and - adjust the speaker volume.

Using the HomePod mini, the + and - volume buttons don't change anything, and there is no sound with the menu or games.

Am I missing something, or is this poorly designed? The Echo Studio (the HomePod competitor) actually works better with the Apple TV than their own speaker.

I understand AirPlay 2 has a lag, it's Apple's own speaker, simple! It should use AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth for menu, games, anything that can't be AirPlayed.
