Okay, so about all my games have been getting pretty boring (fun sometimes),
but i need a game, you know, a game you waste 600 hours+ on and its still fun and you just want to play it everyday. Anyone that know a game like that? ;).

Bethesda makes adult, open-ended, open world games that you WILL lose yourself in, if you give them a chance.

Skyrim, if you enjoy a high fantasy setting
Fallout: New Vegas, if you prefer a post-apocalyptic futuristic setting

Happy gaming!

Edit: Sorry, you specified OS X. Don't know.

I've already played 400+ hours of skyrim, and new vegas don't really think its that funny but might give it one more try. Played them in parallels.

World of Warcraft. It offers enough content to keep you busy for thousands of hours easily. This is true of most MMOs. You might also like checking out the free to play Lord of the Rings Online or Dungeons and Dragons Online. All of these have native OS X clients.

I believe some people like to play StarCraft II and Diablo III on a daily basis as well.

Believe it or not Runescape.

Been playing since 2005 and sunk 649 days 15 hours into it and still not done everything there is to do or maxed out all the skills, lots of players have but they cheat by buying online gold and buying auto bots to play for them, game is full of them. No different to any other online game I suppose.

In between that at the moment Fallout 3 under Bootcamp ( I assume this counts as Bootcamp is part of OSX )

Also Civilization V and Baldur's Gate I & II are games good enough to last ages.

EDIT: I just noticed no one has mentioned Counter-Strike, which is something you start playing during high school and then it sort of follows you throughout your life.

Try Hearthstone. I was bored by it at first, but now im hooked. Deceptively simple, but endless fun.

The Witcher I and II are on sale on Steam this weekend. Fantastic games, great setting and story.

Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition is worth a few play throughs. The higher difficulties are brutal.

XCOM has a native Mac client and I could see myself with hundreds of hours on that.

I did not thing the witcher was fun at all, it bothered me that you could not jump etc, and the combat was pretty bad, however dragon age might be a good game and xcom too. :) Thank you

I can understand your issues with the first Witcher game. It took me a long time to finish it because of that. The second one is a much better game in terms of mechanics, presentation, etc. and I believe it's only $4 on Steam this weekend. It's worth a shot IMO.

You should try DotA 2 or LoL. I also want to try an MMORPG like WoW, Guild Wars 2.

You should try Kerbal Space Program. Lots of mods, it's fun making rockets and watching them blow up or travel to other planets.
