Was a bit surprised to see this “Leaving Arcade Soon” section in Apple Arcade. Is this something new or have games been leaving the service previously too?

Wonder what will happen to the games. Will they still be available in the App Store outside Arcade?

Yep, I just saw that as well. I thought part of the Apple Arcade deal that developers signed up for what that it was basically 'an Apple Arcade game' on iOS in perpetuity.

Same. This is the first time I’ve seen this. I thought the games were all in perpetuity, too.

Brings up a couple of questions: Do you lose all of your progress after they leave Apple Arcade? Do the devs sell them separately? Are they “yours” if you at least installed them and keep an Apple Arcade subscription?

It raises a lot of questions (as indicated above by TS and others that responded which aren't indicated in the “Leaving Arcade Soon” section in Apple Arcade so it seems. So odd hope Apple will give a response on this matter soon.
