Hii everyone i have just one question if u guys can recommend me to good fun game not to old that will be very helpful

i have got :
Call Of Duty 4
UT3
:apple: Imac 24 inch, 2gb ram, 500gb hd, :apple:

i like shooters. I have AVP2 alien vs predator for sale if you want it for cheap, its an awesome game, playing predator rocks.

Also, i like Doom 3 and halo obviously.

^ Got Pro Street and played Crysis. Not a fan of Assassins Creed either. What about Bioshock?

Bioshock isn't as traditional as COD4, but its a nice game.

I would also check out Team Fortress 2 if you like class based games, it's worthy to check it out before buying tho, I've had several people love it and one who hates it so...

you could try ambrosia - plenty of sweet shareware with various graphical details - or spiderweb software which have some really fun isometric RPGs... ... freeverse got heroes of might and magic as well as some other strategy games.

Amongst the freeewares the only game I find myself playing is a colonization clone called freecol, quite fun but semi-hard to get into if you haven't played colonization before

Games

I'm a fan of racing games so I say go for Colin Mcrae Rally and Redline is a pretty good one also. I just bought CMR about a week and a half ago and I haven't been able to put it down. It has very good graphics and the gameplay is good as well. I've also purchased Madden for Mac and I've installed it on my MBP but have yet to play it.

If you don't own Half Life 2, buy the Orange Box. HL2 is probably my favourite game of all time, I'm considering selling my 6 month old black book to buy a macbook pro so I can play it again!

Of course this will involve you installing boot camp and windows on your imac, which you may not want to do.

:edit: oh I've just remembered Counter Strike: Source comes with HL2! That's probably my favourite online shooter, after Battlefield 1942!

If you don't have it already buy The Orange Box, it's a great deal and features a pretty terrific single player experience, a well conceived puzzler and an stylish class-based multiplayer shooter. Can't go wrong with it really.

Otherwise you might enjoy Bioshock, I got really hooked on it but it has a lot of flaws, mainly concerning it's console-itis and some other stuff still it's a pretty fun game. Be sure to get patch v1.1 which definitely fixes a lot of issues (like the vita-chambers, giving you an option to disable them or the mouse acceleration plus it adds the missing xbox360 tonic and adds a few plasmids as well).

That being said, you already own one of the best games of the year and that's Call of Duty 4, the single player is pretty intense (even if short) and multiplayer is loads of fun.

yeh i want to get the orange box with TF2 thats a very good game
