Games on my new MBP/

If I need to post this elsewhere just yell at me. I am no gamer at all. Never have been although I've played some games with my kids and grandkids. But as a retired person I would not mind something to fill a little time on bad weather days and so on. I don't play poker or games like that and this will strictly be on my MBP so no accessories. Any suggestions on what I can safely download?
