I had serious issues with gaming in Windows 7 with bootcamp.. I tried Age Of Empires 2 and 3, Halo, Rise Of Nations, as well as Counter Stikre Source. Only AOE 2 and counterstirke 1.6 worked. I then decided to install Xp instead and now all those games work amazingly with no issue. I also tried COD4 and it work quite well also, the problem was Widnows 7 was giving directx issues but xp seems fine. This is all on my June 09 2.53 mbp 15"

Were you using the rc or the beta because the rc gave me a boost in performance on my windows computer with the x3100. or is it a bootcamp only issue, if thats the case how long would everybody think before games stop being supported by xp?
I actually heard that this runs crysis at ok framerates and world at war on decent framerates at low-medium settings, can anybody confirm this, doesn't need to be 7 could be any windows on bootcamp
Realistically, games from 2005 and before will run very well. Games up to 2007 will run decently and lower settings and newer games, like Batman Arkham Asylum won't run very well at all.
The MacRumors Windows Gaming on a Mac does have a section on Mac performance running Windows games, but the titles listed there don't really reflect today's games. If you/anyone have any games you know runs well on a MacBook or any model Mac for that matter, feel free to pm me and I can add them to the guide. Please include what model Mac and Windows OS you are using. Thanks!
