PC Power User looking to move on up to the iMac 27, 8 GB, Quad core 3.2 $1999 version. I want to primarily use this machine to play World of Warcraft Legion. Does anyone have any experience with this configuration and is it powerful enough for raiding? Does it require an upgrade to 16 GB RAM? Thanks for any help you can offer. I am currently using a PC that puts out 90 to 105 frames per second on high settings in a raiding situation.

I don't play the game, but I think for future proofing the iMac, going for 16 GB ram would be a good idea. 8 GB will be enough for now, but 1 year down the road, I think it will need a little more.

As for the frame rate, a little help might be found in the 2nd reply (https://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/19739974440). Or the first reply from Cuthbert.

I hope that helps.
