Hey, I am currently looking to invest in a Baseline 24 inch iMac, but to upgrade the graphics to the 8800Gs in it. The main reason for doing this is that i want to bootcamp it and then run a few games on it listed below. If anyone has any experience with this, or any useful advice, then that would be greatly appreciated.

Supreme Commander
Command and Conquer Red alert 3
World in Conflict
Civ 4 plus all expansions

Also, if anyone is playing anything similar to this, and runs well, then suggest it!

Sorry if this has all been discussed before

Jason

No worries. All of those games will run great on this system. Crisis might struggle but most games will purr along.

Its a snip with the new iMacs, you don't even have to take the back off, there is a little panel on the bottom on the machine, below the apple logo, unscrew the panel, stick in the new ram, and then close the panel up again,

It's meant to be quite easy, but if like me your not confident enough to risk damaging your shiny new mac, just let apple win and use theirs.
